Georgia Home-Based Business Chamber Launches Groundbreaking "Youngpreneurs" Partnership with Youth Life Center of the Arts,  in Riverdale, GA – 2/10/2025:

The Georgia Home-Based Business Chamber is thrilled to announce a transformative initiative to support the Youth Life Center of the Arts, dedicated to education, arts, technology, and entrepreneurship. This partnership aims to prepare the next generation for success in a rapidly evolving world by combining mentorship, advocacy, event collaboration, and financial support with a focus on innovation, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math), financial literacy, and emerging industries such as cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence (AI).

“This is an extraordinary opportunity to equip young people with the tools and resources they need to thrive in the 21st century,” said Arlesia Crooms, President. “By fostering creativity, technological aptitude, and entrepreneurial thinking, we’re ensuring that our youth are ready to lead the future.”

The Chamber’s collaboration with Youth Life Center of the Arts will include programs and initiatives centered on:

• Arts and Music: Encouraging self-expression and creativity through workshops, performances, and exhibits featuring young artists and musicians.
• STEAM Education: Offering hands-on opportunities to explore fields such as robotics, coding, engineering, and digital media.
• Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Innovation: Introducing youth to AI technologies, machine learning, and innovative problem-solving strategies.
• Financial Literacy and Cryptocurrency: Providing education on personal finance, budgeting, investing, and the fundamentals of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
• Entrepreneurship and Business: Hosting interactive sessions to develop business acumen, leadership skills, and strategies for success in the gig and home-based economy.

The Chamber will:

• Mentor Future Leaders: Connect local business owners, artists, and tech professionals with youth to provide personalized guidance and career inspiration.
• Provide Financial Support: The Chamber will contribute $20 for every paid yearly membership, an annual event sponsorship, and scholarships that align with the partnership’s goals.
• Collaborate on Events: Organize joint initiatives like art exhibitions, financial literacy workshops, hackathons, and pitch competitions for young entrepreneurs.
• Advocate for STEAM and Innovation: Promote youth-focused innovation through public campaigns, networking events, and community outreach.

The Chamber invites local businesses, home-based entrepreneurs, artists, musicians, technologists, and community members to join this movement. Together, we can ensure our youth are equipped with the skills and confidence to lead in creativity, technology, and business “From arts and music to blockchain and AI, today’s youth need exposure to both creativity and technology to thrive in tomorrow’s economy,” said Claressa (Mama Ressa) Williams.  “This initiative represents a holistic approach to preparing them for success.”

The collaboration will kick off in with an upcoming February 17th event, in at Premiere Event Space, 216 Valley Hill Road, Riverdale, GA 30274, featuring guest speaker, President/Executive Director of the Youth Life Center of the Arts.
